Please understand that the information on MathBits.com is protected by US and International copyright laws (such as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(2)) and other intellectual property laws.  [MathBits.com materials and graphics are not in the "public domain".]

  • MathBits.com content may be freely accessed and/or printed for your own private use, or for private use within your own classroom with your students, as long as credit to MathBits.com (copyright) is maintained and no charge is issued to the recipients.

    -- you may not use MathBits.com materials in any presentation/workshop/staff development session for which you are paid or reimbursed in any manner.

    -- you may not use the materials at MathBits.com when teaching an online course if such teaching requires the re-posting of the materials to the internet, intranet, or any public/internal distribution format. All (non-subscription) materials can be linked from MathBits.com, making any form of re-posting unnecessary.   MathBits.com is an extremely stable site (first postings 1998).

    loaded, uploaded, burned, snagged, or installed electronically on any server.  You may not re-post any of  the pages or content from MathBits.com on the internet in any form (be it part, whole or modified).  You most certainly may not present the materials from MathBits.com as your own internet/computer based materials by using the materials with the copyright/authorship removed. 
     
  • Profit making projects and/or organizations may not copy, modify, and/or distribute MathBits.com content for commercial use.
